“Perilaku konsumen adalah semua kegiatan, tindakan, serta proses psikologis yang mendorong tindakan tersebut pada saat sebelum membeli, ketika membeli, menggunakan, menghabiskan, produk dan jasa setelah melakukan hal-hal di atas atau kegiatan mengevaluasi.” (Sumarwan 2011).

First Attendance Review

Im Salman Cakra Wijaya, a student of Management Faculty of Economics and Management. At the 6th semester, I decided to take courses in consumer behavior which is the major subject of the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences. I took this course because this course can support major I took and my friends told that Consumer Behavior was fun to study and the lecturers too. The first day I entered the classroom Consumer behavior is Februari 14, 2017 in GMSK. When I go to class has just begun and it was time to lecturer introductions..
After an introduction session lecturers was completed, followed by a discussion session where the professors ask students to write down the meaning of the word that comes to our minds when he first heard the word “consumer”. By rotating the seat from front to back students express what they think. Some argue that the consumer is king, connoisseurs of product discounts, the user, to the Asset. Once the student has finished giving his opinion, then lecturer to explain what is meant by the consumer according to some experts. The opinion of the experts concluded by the lecturers that consumer behavior is all the activities, actions, as well as the psychological processes that drive those actions in the moments before buy, when to buy, use, spend your products and services after doing the above matters or activities evaluated. Furthermore, the lecturer also explained the dimensions of consumer behavior that consists of how they got it, how they consume, and how to remove the remaining part of consumption or consumption. By the time the course was described to be studied consumer behavior among marketers, education and consumer protection, government and legislature, and consumers themselves. Lecturers also asked the students to write down the reasons to go to college, choosing IPB reason, the reason for choosing a major, and the reason for taking courses in consumer behavior. Lecturer ask some students to pass. Then professor tell us why it is called as a motivation based on needs.
